Young Boy Makes Friends With a Strange And Extremely Dangerous Creature

If you’re looking for a pet to cuddle and get close with, there are plenty of animals you can choose from: dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, even rats if you’re so inclined. But stingrays? Well, the giant underwater sea creatures don’t come too high on many people’s lists of animals to make pals with. Except in this case.

When threatened, stingrays, as their name suggests, can sting you. They have heavy a barb with poisonous venom located on their tails and will use it when they feel that they’re in danger. It was a stingray which killed intrepid nature enthusiast and Australian TV star Steve Irwin, after all. But, if fed and treated with respect, they’re pretty safe. Which is good news for this kid here!
