This isn’t a nice video. This footage was taken on a New York City train and appears to show NYPD cops severely manhandling a member of the public just for allegedly sleeping on the train. The shocking footage seems to show the officers applying unnecessary force to the situation to the point that a member of the public felt it necessary to film the incident, note down the badge numbers of the officers involved and spread the word via social media. There’s no word yet as to whether anyone involved has made a formal complaint or not.
If the video does indeed show what it appears to and there are no other explanations, then this video truly is something to worry about. Have a look and make up your own mind about what happened that night:
