When 7 year-old German Shepherd Tommy’s friend and owner died recently, the poor thing was heart-broken. Every Sunday they used to walk down to church together. And, be it by force of habit or divine intervention, Tommy just so happened to take a walk by himself down to the church exactly when his late owner’s funeral was taking place. It was as if he knew. He carried on this pilgrimage every day to pay tribute until the church decided to adopt him. And now he’s the toast of the little Italian town he lives in!
