There are times when I’m glad that I don’t live somewhere with exotic wildlife. The most I have to deal with is an errant squirrel. No tigers. No cobras. No mosquitoes. It’s all very safe!
India, on the other hand, is home to some of the most dangerous animals, snakes and creepy crawlies in the world, as demonstrated in the following totally gross video! This little kid went to the doctor complaining of tinnitus – the condition where you hear noises in your ears. After a brief inspection, the doctor realized that he had Aural Myiasis, or, in layman’s terms, MAGGOTS IN HIS FRICKIN’ EAR!!
When the child was sleeping, a fly flew into his ear canal and laid eggs. These subsequently hatched, and the larvae started to feed on the flesh in the boy’s ear. The noise he could hear was a maggot eating his ear drum!
