BBC News reporter Quentin Sommerville often reports from Afghanistan and the Middle East. One such news report saw him telling of a story of how local authorities dispose of seized drugs. Their answer? Burning. Massive piles of opium, hashish and heroin are piled up and set alight. To show this, Sommerville stood in front of a flaming heap of dope. And proceeded to inhale the fumes, naturally. And got high. It’s difficult to remain professional when you’re off your head.
