We were all very upset to hear the sad news about Robin William’s death. And while he’s mostly remembered for his huge contribution to the arts and entertainment, his charity work shouldn’t be overlooked. The Mrs. Doubtfire star was a philanthropist of epic proportions, donating lots of money and raising heaps of awareness for various causes, including Amnesty International and Comic Relief. We’ve just unearthed a great clip of him working with a gorilla called Koko and drawing everyone’s attention to the great work done at The Gorilla Foundation.
Here is Robin and Koko, who can understand spoken English (!), as well as American Sign Language, joking around and having a chat!
