So, what does happen when you melt aluminum and pour it into a watermelon? What do you mean you don’t know?! C’mon, we thought everyone knew! No, we’re only joking – it’s not really something we’ve every really thought about if we’re honest… Although the answer is pretty cool.
The Backyard Scientist needed to find out. That’s what having a scientific mind is all about. And, as his name suggests, he had to do it in his back yard. And we’re glad he did because the results are pretty spectacular! They’re also pretty unexpected.
