This is Chrissy Teigen. If you haven’t heard of her already, she is a professional model, television show host and food aficionado. Not only that, she is the wife of Grammy award winning singer-songwriter John Legend. Since being spotted working in a surf shop in the mid 2000s, Teigen’s career has gone from strength to strength.
Teigen, who is of Norwegian/Thai descent, married Legend back in 2013, after having dated him for the previous 7 years.
Despite her stunning looks, Teigen admits that she is not flawless. A few days ago, she took to Instagram to post a picture of the stretch marks on her thighs. The caption read:
“Bruises from bumping the kitchen drawer handles for a week. Stretchies say hi!”
The post had an amazing response, with women all over the world inspired by the body positivity that Teigen was promoting.
Women began sharing pictures of their own stretch marks, which are usually a result of puberty, childbirth, weight loss or weight gain, under the hashtag #LoveYourLines.
