There are lots of things you’re probably never going to get around to in your life. You’re probably never going to go abseiling with Macaulay Culkin, for instance. And another? We reckon it’s fairly unlikely that you’re never going to find a sperm whale that’s been washed up on a beach for two days, cut into it and have it explode like a huge aquatic bomb.
That’s not to say that this scenario is impossible, though. When left to rot out of the water, the methane gas build up in a mammal like this is immense. So it only takes a few snips in the abdomen to release this pressure and explode all over everywhere! This is pretty messed up. This video is INSANE, that’s what we’re getting at. See for yourself:
