Osceola County, Florida. Little 6 year old Glenn Buratti, a cute kid with mild autism and epilepsy was looking forward to his birthday. He had a party planned and all his friends were invited. His mom Ashlee had invited 16 schoolpals. It was going to be a good day.
But it wasn’t to be. Why? Well, poor Glenn was stood up. Not one of the 16 kids invited showed up.
Sad, huh?
“I know this might be something silly to rant about, but my heart is breaking for my son. We invited his whole class over for his 6th birthday party today. Not one kid came…” Ashlee posted on a local Facebook group.
Ashlee thought not much more of her rant. But then… 15 local kids and their parents turned up… And not just them!
The day turned out to be even better than Glenn or Ashlee ever imagined! Firefighters turned up…
And cops too. With presents!
Glenn got to have a look in the cop car and everything.
Look at this! Better than a few snot-nosed kids from school!
How brilliant a move was this from local firefighters and cops and people?
There were bikes too. Oh, and helicopters! They flew a chopper low for Glenn to wave at. Awesome.
God bless the internet!
