This Vending Machine is Selling T-Shirts For $2 But No One’s Buying Them…

This is very clever indeed. We don’t often consider worldwide issues when we make personal decisions, do we? Let’s imagine you’re out shopping and you need a new white t-shirt. Just one for the gym, nothing special – a cheap one. You see one for the price of a cup of coffee. It’s an easy decision, right? Well, you’ve got to remember that when things are real cheap, there’s usually a price to pay somewhere else down the line…

Exploitation in foreign workplaces sees people mistreated and paid unbelievably badly. They’re often made to work in dreadful working conditions. All just so that we can enjoy t-shirts and socks and underwear for next to nothing. This social experiment from Germany makes people consider the effects of such choices and offers a very interesting dilemma.

What would YOU do?

What do you think?
