How are you with heights? Personally I’m not very good! I mean I’m not exactly petrified of them, but they make me pretty uneasy. So when I saw this story about a new glass walkway that has opened thousands of feet up a mountain in China, my stomach turned!
The new tourist attraction runs along the side of Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie National Park. It is nicknamed the Coiling Dragon Cliff skywalk, and it’s not hard to see why!
There’s heights, and there’s heights. The Tianmen skywalk sits at an altitude of 1403m! You are literally walking nearly a mile above the ground. It’s a long way down from there.
Luckily, if you do lose your nerve, the walkway is only 100m long. But it’s also only 1.6 wide, so you’re never too far away from the side!
Would you give this a go? I’d like to say I would, but probably when I got up there I’d lose my nerve!
