This new public service advertisement from Argentina, The Man and the Dog, is an excellent piece of film. It shows the close and touching relationship between an elderly man and his best friend – his dog. The pair do everything together. The dog accompanies the man to shops, cafes and restaurants, and even works as his alarm clock! Then one day, the man has a stroke. He is rushed to the hospital in an ambulance with the dog in hot dispute. Once they reach the hospital, the dog is forced to wait outside. And wait he does. Minutes become hours. Hours become days. Days become weeks. Still, the man does not emerge.
Then, someone appears. But who is it?
