Robert GonsalvesĀ is a hugely talented artist. That kind of goes without saying when you see the awesome work he comes out with. He calls his paintingsĀ ‘magic realism’ and it’s a mix of optical illusion and just plain beautiful art! He takes his influence from such greats in the game as the surrealistĀ Salvador DalĆ and people like RenĆ© Magritte and Yves Tanguy. His pictures can take up to a month to make, with such detailed planning involved. They’re really unique and some will really leave you scratching your head!
