The poor little poodle you’re about to meet was spotted on the side of the road after being hit by a car in south Los Angeles. Luckily, the person who found her knew exactly who to call. Annie Hart from Rescue from the Heart and Eldad Hagar of Hope for Paws went straight to where the dog was seen.
Despite being very experienced dog rescuers, they just didn’t know what they might find.  When dogs have been out on the streets, they sometimes aren’t like the loveable, affectionate animals we’ve come to love as our pets. These street dogs have had to stick it out through tough times, and this can mean that they can be nervous and scared of humans. On this occasion,  the dog looked in a really bad way. They just didn’t know if this rescue would be successful.
Using her expertise, Annie gently approached the injured poodle and tenderly stroked her. When you see the dogs reaction, you’ll realise that it has never seen kindness quite like it before.
