Meet Rikki. Rikki’s pretty much like all other dogs. He loves to go walkies, he loves a biscuit, he loves to be cuddled and fussed over. But he’s not exactly like all other dogs. You see, little Rikki the Chihuahua is slightly deformed. He has an ‘angular limb deformity’ that sees his two front paws turn inwards, making him look and move about a lot different from his other canine counterparts.
That’s why his previous owner didn’t want him. How sad. So the Animal Rescue League of Boston took him in and hoped and prayed that they’d find someone who was willing to look past Rikki’s deformity and take him and love him. And they didn’t have to wait long until they found that person. Watch the video – it’ll tug on your heartstrings, no doubt!
What a sweet story, eh? And what a little champ Rikki is! If you’d like to discover more about the great work that the Animal Rescue League of Boston do, check out their website.
