But, when you think about it, it’s mostly the same old devices and set pieces over and over again in them, isn’t it? The scary ghost kid, the creepy cabin in the woods… Things need updating. True horror comes from the mundane. The ordinary. It has to have an element of reality to it. After all, when was the last time you moved into a haunted house? Exactly. But when was the last time you took a selfie…?
That’s the scenario in this terrifying short film, ‘Selfie From Hell’. Produced by ‘F*ck You Zombie’, it makes the humble self-taken photograph and elevates it to petrifying levels that will all but guarantee that you’ll never take another selfie again!
