AI Status Checker

Is Claude or ChatGPT down? Live AI status and what breaks with it

AIDownCheck tracks the status of AI tools and model providers on one page. Each service gets its own page with current status and recent incidents, built from official status feeds plus its own checks every few minutes. You can also see which tools depend on Anthropic, OpenAI or Google, and build a personal board of just the AI tools you use.

Our verdict

Useful the moment a chatbot stops answering and you want to know whether it is the service or your connection. The what-breaks-when pages are the standout: they show that a single provider incident can take Cursor, Copilot and others down together, so you stop troubleshooting your own setup.

Why we like it: It goes past red or green. The dependency pages show which tools sit on which model provider, and the trending list shows which services have had the roughest week. My Stack lets you track only the tools you use on one shareable board.

The catch: Downstream impact is a possible blast radius based on public provider relationships, not a confirmed outage of each product. Coverage is of AI services only; for general apps you need a general outage checker.
