CSS Crème

Web design inspiration, color palettes and CSS tools you can reuse

CSS Crème is a gallery of well-made websites where each one can be pulled apart into its color palette, type scale and spacing. Palettes come as installable shadcn themes, and design breakdowns explain why a layout works. A decoder reads the real type scale, spacing and contrast from any live page you point it at. It is free with no account.

Our verdict

Better than a pure inspiration gallery because you leave with usable values. Pick a palette, install the shadcn theme or copy the CSS variables, and read the breakdown to see why the page works. The decoder on arbitrary pages is the feature that sets it apart.

Why we like it: It measures instead of just showing. Contrast ratios are computed, palettes install with one command, and there is a set of free CSS tools plus DESIGN.md files for the themes and templates. Favorites stay in your own browser.

The catch: It is built around developers using shadcn/ui, Tailwind and AI coding tools. If you want a Dribbble-style scroll of pretty screenshots with no code attached, this is more technical than that.
