Is it down right now? Live outage status for the apps you use
DownRN answers the question of whether an app is really down or whether it is just you. It checks popular apps and services from its own servers, adds official status feeds where they exist, and lists active incidents as they are reported. It also maps which cloud providers sit underneath each app, so you can see why several services fail together.
Our verdict
Open it the next time Zoom stalls or a payment app stops loading. The front page shows which services have problems right now, and each service has its own status page. The dependency view is the part most outage checkers skip: it explains why a Cloudflare or cloud incident takes unrelated apps down in the same hour.
Why we like it: It is plain about where its data comes from: its own checks plus official feeds, and it says it does not fake report counts. The pages are light, with no clutter or ads, and the incident list tells you what the provider has actually said.
The catch: It covers a fixed list of popular services, so a small site or niche app may not be there. When an official status page and its own check disagree, you get both readings and have to decide for yourself.
