Brutalist mini-games and a catalogue of deliberately infuriating interfaces.

Frustrated.io splits into two halves. One is a games catalogue — Hold The Button, Flappy Crypto, Connect 4 against an AI that actually tries, Bubble Shooter, a reaction game, and a genuinely calming bubble-popping toy, most with live daily leaderboards.

The other half is the interesting one: a museum of hostile UX. A cookie banner with 1,247 vendors listed individually. A Reject All button that moves away from your cursor. A loading bar permanently stuck at 99%. A Cancel button that publishes your dating profile. Each one is a working recreation of a pattern that exists, or nearly exists, on the real web.

Our verdict

The dark-patterns catalogue is the reason to go. It is funnier and more pointed than the games, and it works because every entry is a real thing someone actually shipped.

The catch: That is the point of the site. If a search bar insulting your query is going to genuinely annoy you rather than amuse you, this is not your sort of thing.
