Known as ‘The Walkie Talkie’ in its home town, a giant $325m skyscraper in London – weirdly – has the unique ability to actually melt cars! It’s a design flaw, you see (obviously!). An inward curve reflects sunlight on hot days down to the pavement below. And, if the weather is hot enough, it’s been known to warp metal and blister paintwork. It’s crazy! Some people are even claiming to have received minor burns just by walking past where the light is reflected down!
