This teacher asked her students to bring a bag of tomatoes in to school. At first, it seems like an odd request. Would they be cooking with them? Nope. Instead, she asks them to include one tomato for each person they hated. So each would signify an actual person they despised.
So each child turned up the next day with their bags of tomatoes. Some had only a few in them. Some had loads. But why was she asking them to do this?
