It’s often been said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but who really listens to that, huh? We have no context or perspective when we, as a world, judge a person’s appearance. We assume that what we believe to be true, absolutely is true. But why? Aren’t we just products of our environments, anyway? Don’t we mostly just believe what we’re told to believe? Centuries ago, The Perfect Woman looked a lot different to how she does now. In fact, you can chart different ideals down to decades in the past one hundred years. It’s basically just fashion.
