After being scared by fireworks, Dora jumped the fence of the family backyard and ran away from home. Her family desperately searched for her night and day to no avail. Several months passed and they thought they were never going to see her again.  Then one day, an animal shelter picked up a stray dog, after scanning the Microchip, they managed to find the owner,what happened next bought a few tears to my eyes.
Most people consider their pets part of the family, so it’s a good idea to get them microchipped just incase something like this happens. Cats and Dogs go missing everyday, at least when they are chipped and registered you have a much higher chance of getting them back.
