When Navy husband and dad Brian found out that he was able to return on leave from the USS Lawrence slightly early, he thought he’d pull out a bit of a surprise for his beloved wife and two daughters. Instead of phoning ahead and just pitching up, he thought he’d cook up a bit of a ruse and shock them. And he did just that!
His wife and kids turned up at the girls school, Sunset View Elementary in San Diego, one day for ‘an awards ceremony’ that didn’t exist. Well, in a way it did – they received something better than a certificate or medal. It’s a heart-warming little story. Have a look and try not to cry!
