Timothy Eli Thompson was born a happy little bouncing baby on March 4th at 4.42pm, weighing in at 6lbs 8oz. Despite having been born perfectly healthy in every other way imaginable, little Eli was born without a nose. He had what doctors call, ‘congenital arhinia’.
It’s an affliction which affects roughly one in every 200 MILLION babies. In fact, there had only ever been 47 cases of it ever reported.
Things were hard for the family from the start. No one was expecting Eli to be born the way he was. And their journey in the short few months since his birth has been incredible…
