When Animal Aid Unlimited rescued an abandoned street dog called Toffee, he was in such awful shape that they couldn’t tell right away whether he was dead or alive. The poor soul. He had terrible open wounds which had maggots crawling around in them and he’d lost half his hair. AAU took him in and were astounded at his sheer will to survive. Both Toffee and his rescuers worked hard and it paid off…
